Help! - Game King no sound

I have a 17" LCD Gameking. Since I purchased it (used from a private party) the sound has never worked. I have replaced the 044 Motherboard and the sound card with no effect. The attendent sound test doesnt make a sound nor do any of the Key menu sound setups or tests. The mechanical bell works on cashout but thats it. I have verified everything is enabled. Thinking at this point it has to be my flash/game card? Any input or help is appreciated.

While it could be software, have you checked the speaker(s) and wiring to make sure the speaker(s) work and is/are connected to the machine?

Thanks for the reply Knagl. I have checked all of the wiring and board connections top to bottom, isolated each speaker to eliminate it as shorted, replaced the 044 MB, replaced the sound amp board, replaced the 36 boot chip with a new combo boot/key and verified all keychip and attendent menu sound and volume settings with no effect. Thinking my next step is to find another GK 6.4 flash card.

That will likely fix your problem.  It's not unusual for a bad 044 flash card to be the cause of having no sound unfortunately.
