Hit “change” with 641 credits. Now not working!!
« on: September 20, 2019, 04:53:16 AM »
help!  New member, looked all over forum but unable to fix this issue.  I am new to slots but know enough, I have a triple diamond flat top I got at an auction.  Quarter in, no bill acceptor at the moment.  It was working great until I accidentally hit the change button with 621 credits.  It paid them all out, I had to reload hopper a few times.  Now it’s stuck and candle light is flashing with my winner paid at 621.  How do I clear this and get it back to playing condition?  I tried several things from self test menu and jackpot reset key.  I’m frustrated!  Thanks in advance.

flashing 621 means it paid out 621 coins.  You should now be able to insert coins and play.  The flashing light is there if you powered down and powered up, it goes away after first game is played.  Also make sure your door is completely closed and latched.

My door is closed and latched.  I’m unable to play a game.  When I put quarters in they just come out.  I know the 621 isn't a code it’s how many credits dispersed.  What else could it be??

Fixed it, I removed the quarter in coin part inside door and unplugged the connector.  Plugged it back in and restarted and it worked!!

Glad to hear you got it going again but you must have hit cash out and not change.  The change light is the upper bulb on the candle and the lower light indicates system status change as Rick said.

Yes, I often often have issues with the s-plus not seeing the sample coin.  Usually just sliding the coin holder a few times makes it work.  I probably need to clean the optics but that usually works so...  ?
Did you happen to notice if the displays changed when opening and closing the door when it was not working?  If you don't see them all blank and then re-set when you close the door again that means the door isn't completely closed and latched correctly.  I've had that too.
