I see for sale fire links with v22 and 32 tv conversion playing fire link.  the v22 shows game sideways and the tv shows it upright.  i tried to install fire link with v22 (tv doesn't have touch screen) and it gives me a bc7 is not supported on graphics card connected to screen =1.  I looked at graphics card and it says quadro 1800.  my question is:  do I need a newer graphics card?  if yes, what card would I need?  any help would be appreciated.  I am new to the alpha 2 machines.

You need at least a K2000 card.  I'm not entire sure if the K600 works (only has 1GB of RAM), but the K620 should work as well since it is the last version used on alpha 2's.

Stick with the K2000 as I found that some games do not like the K620.

Good to know that.  I only have K2000's since I've never had issues with them, but I've seen a lot of alpha2 mpu's out of casinos with the K600 and K620's, so I figure they would work, but maybe not so much.

Yeah, I know the K620 will not support Wonka Dream Factory, and other games that use the DP for the topper.

needed updated video card.  now the only error I have is a door monitor battery fail.  can someone advise me of location of this battery?

My guess is the backplane.  Door circuit goes thru the backplane.  You will have to pull out the mpu to get to it.  Might be good time to replace them all.
