Game King EEPROM issues

Hello all. I just purchased a Game King, and included in the sale was a key chip 28 board. I was able to use the key chip successfully, and changed the settings, but I didnt set the amounts high enough, and when I pressed the tito to add redits, it automatically went to "call attendant, hand payout". Realizing its a $5 machine, and I need to set the denomination limits higher then they were, I recleared the RAM, Set to Key, and I keep getting an EEPROM error over and over. The machine came with detailed instructions which I followed perfectly the first time, and was able to get into the settings and reset the machine. Now, it wont let me go into the settings at all, Just eeprom Error no matter what I do. . So, my guestions are what EEPROM do I need? I can try a different one, but the one in the machine simply says IGT 5363. I cant find any info on it. I will try to post pictures because id like to know what boards i have as well, since i know there are different versions. Any help and advice will be appreciated!

Hello Scott,
You can set it for a penny, nickel, quarter...whatever denomination you want...unless it actually states $5 on the glass?

BTW EEPROM ERROR probably means that little chip on the backplane board that your MPU slides into.
Sometimes they DO go bad, but mostly it's just a clearing/erasure problem of the operator using the wrong Keychip or wrong procedure.
Get a hold of NLG member named RB, he should have the correct chips for your game.
Give him a call and tell him I sent ya!

My suggestion is purchase an 039 develop chip and try that. Might work and you won't be out too much money. Otherwise you may be sending boards off for testing.
