BB2 White Screen

I Just got this BB2 machine.  First time it booted this happened during the startup.  I left the door open and restarted and everything was fine.  Today white screen was on the monitor. when I did a restart this happens.  A burnin of what looks like Jackpot party and then just goes white.  This is a Princess Bride BB2 machine that was setup with it on the drive.  No idea where that quick image is coming from. No sound from anything but the fans.  Do you think this is bad news or an easy fix?  I'm going to call the tech line tomorrow.

Any opinions?

swap the cables between the top and bottom monitors (you might have to run a dvi cable to the top screen as I believe the secondary video output on a bb2 mpu is vga only.  This is to make sure the monitor is working right.  If you get no image on the top monitor, it is most likely the mpu that has something bad with it, most probably the video card.  Does the machine have a mpu cover on it or is it just open?

Thanks for replying!  The monitors worked.  They sent me a whole new MPU with cover.  And you're right, the first one had no cover.  Swapped it out and everything is now up and running.  Happy I now have a cover!

The cover is important because the airflow across the heatsinks only happens when the mpu cover is closed.  When it is opened, the heatsink does not dissipate the required amount of heat with airflow and that is what usually cooks these video cards.  Just make sure the little fan on the right hand side of the mpu is always working.
