have a s 2000 that the blue display only stays on till it says display pass test then the machine beeps and right side displays flashes no disp
changed
all 3 io boards

right display
line display
mpu works in another cabinet

I've had a BV cause this once. Try booting it without the BV.

If it's a 1270 board the varta is dead.

its 1270 but board work great in its sister game , plus put new battery in it

Make sure you got a good solder connection or do the removal mod by taking out the regulator at u16 and the varta.
Is it a standard S2K, Vision, Reel touch, 3 reel or 5.

5 reel I know that mpu is good when I move it to another game it works great , has to been something in cabinet I have changed everything but wire and lower power box

Had this happen once. My fix was it was missing one of the screws holding the display. Once screw was replaced and tightened no more problem. I think there are only 2 to begin with.

Yeah, I think therockinelvis is right, but just keep in mind: you can't fix everything with just one screw !

Just for grins since you changed everything try using another known working MPU.

Does your VFD use a control board? If so, have you swapped it?

running out of hair here
if we unplug left display reels will spin but right display still flashes no disp after reels spin
left display goes blank after display test
