Bally Alpha 9000 problems

i have a Bally 9000 that was working perfect and now when you turn it on the lights blink thumping sound in the speakers and it says no signal.

I would try replacing power supplies.  Look for bulging caps.

unplug power from monitor to see if the blinking lights stop. Is this a mech reel machine?  If the monitor does not stop the blinking, pull out the reel control board.  Something is shorting.  Other things to independently  try are the amplifier board.  Pull out the mpu board a bit so it is not seated in the cage.

If you are getting thumping along with the red light on the board turning on/off at the same time then the problem is the power supply on the board...not likely the other two.

:agreepost:  This and I've also had a few machines that would do this if the MPU power was switched on before the main/cabinet power.
