S+ Machine that will not send credits to the meter...

Hi everybody!
I have a Satellite S+ machine (Game chip S1271) that refuses, no matter what I do, to send winnings and bill inserted into the BV to the credit meter. This started after I switched out the working WBA 11 (But it didn't accept current US currency) to a WBA 12. The BV works fine, accepts bills, but then it sends coins from the hopper and not to the credit meter. I have made sure the machine is setup to send both winnings and bills to the credit meter (using the reset button and the JP key)and have made sure everything is hooked up correctly, which I believe it is. Another weird thing that happened is... I switched out the buttons to new ones and replaced the bottom half (where the bulbs go in) because the old ones were scorched and ugly (But they worked) and now..... the lights in them do not work. The functions do (Except for the credit/cash out button, and the bet one credit button.. but that makes sense, since no credits are accumulated)... so I think my machine is demon possessed....
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this machine??

PSR attached. Pay attention to credit mode <0> [5] and bill acceptor pay mode <0> [8].

Thank you so much for that information! I set it according to those instructions on the PSR.. Unfortunately, that didn't fix it....

SP1271 can be finicky.  If dip switch #4 on MPU board is on - turn it off.

DIP switch #4 is off.... still not fixed....

Try 5_0 - 8_1. If that don't work try 5_1 - 8_0.  One will work. Make sure the cash-credit button is either lit or blinking.

This was just covered in another thread,  your cash out button is probably  miswired, all the others are wired the same, the cash out is different, all the switches use the common on the three prong switch, all the others use one prong, the cash out uses the common and the other prong (doing this from memory)  the lamps all use the same common, and different colored wires for the active lead.
