IGT Pinball Slot, we are getting the error P 0.6 does anyone know how to clear it, or what the error indicates?

Welcome to the site.

I believe the P 0.6 in the Barcrest Pinball unit is a power-on indication that the software installed is Pinball version 0.6.

I take it your machine isn't working? Based on you posting this in the S+ section, I'm assuming this is an S+ Barcrest Pinball machine.

What happens when you turn the machine on? Do the reels spin to initiate? Is there anything displayed in the LED displays of the S+ part of the machine (coins played, credits, winner paid)?

My first suspicion would be the power supply harness that runs between the power supply and the motherboard of the S+ machine, a very common failure point. Please read the following post and see if it resolves your issue. If it does not, please reply back here with as much information as you can provide so we can help you better.

Thank you for your suggestion. Here is what I found out from following the link you suggested.

1. When I reconnected the power supply harness connector, it appeared just barely darker on the right 2 wires. If I didn't have a reference photo, I wouldn't even notice the discoloration since it was so light.
2. What happens when you turn the machine on?
The white light blinks fairly fast, on off, on off, etc.
Code in the Winner Paid is P 0.6
After the machine sits idle for about 4-5 minutes, the Code in the Winner Paid changes to C_01
3. Do the reels spin to initiate? No
4. Is there anything displayed in the LED displays of the S+ part of the machine (coins played - BLANK, credits - BLANK, winner paid - 12)?
5. There is a wire harness that is not connected to anything below the bill acceptor and to the right of the 3 fuses. It is 2 green wires, one with a stripe. Is that anything to be concerned about?

Pardon the slot machine pun, but JACKPOT!

Thank you for the thorough information. The part I quoted above identifies the issue with your machine.

The 12 in the Winner Paid window is an error code, and it indicates that the battery voltage on the processor board for the machine is too low (the battery is dead).

The MPU (processor board) is located behind the hopper in the lower portion of the machine. The battery on it is soldered to the board and needs to be replaced. The machine will not function until that battery is replaced. Additionally, you may have to use a RAM clear and/or a bill validator SET chip after you replace the battery, but the first step is getting the battery replaced.

Ensure that the power to the machine is turned OFF any time you remove or insert the processor board from/into the machine to prevent damage.
