Yes the monitors are different size, so you can't adapt the touchscreen. You can find G20 mld monitors nowadays. I think a member here had some for sale a few weeks ago (Nepa coin I believe). I've also seen them in ebay for about 350.
To upgrade your dynamic buttons to the edge lit ones, you will need the buttons (obviously) and you may or may not need your blackfin controller board updated (or get one that is already updated). The button panel connects to the controller using an HDMI cable. The controller is a rectangular pcb that is piggybacked into another one. It then has a usb cable going to the backplane. The controller board has a little 8 pin socketed chip that should have a sticker on it, you need to have at least bfb0004. The chip can be easily replaced or upgraded if you don't have it. You will also need to have BFDB006x or better to drive the edge lit buttons, this is firmware on the blackfin controller. If you don't have both it won't work. When I did my upgrade, I just purchased a known working blackfin controller that was already programmed with the correct boot and firmware. You could send yours to somebody that can do it, I don't know how much they would charge. The blackfin boards usually go for around $100. The buttons anywhere from $29 used to around $60 new. You will need 10 for your machine. It is expensive to do it, but it sure adds a lot of pizzazz to the game since the G20 doesn't have any LED accents. I would also recommend you get a polygon topper with the sparkle base. It makes the machine look killer. Here's a photo of mine.
