IGT S2000 door and other stuff

Hey all,
New here, from Sweden.. you're all probably from the US - so please be kind to the Scandinavian Not saying the Americans are evil.. oh boy.. let's just stop it before we roll out of here


So.. I found this site and the NLG.net forums - which are closed? while researching for a new hobbyproject - namely, building an IGT S2000 / S+ like machine.


Biggest reason for building is cost for shipping, which of course will add up with all separate parts, true. But this way I can "slowly" purchase things needed, primarily from the US it looks like and then build over time. Another reason is that these are all used parts, buying a complete machine will probably make you buy some details anyhow as they have various degrees of wear. Nothing wrong with that of course - I'm happy to buy second hand parts as they come from real casinos - which is fun.


Anyhow, I see no problem in building the cabinet and spacing the various bits and bobs correctly to mimic a real machine and make it function like a real machine. Of course, there are some parts that will obviously be very hard to build - unless you got a factory for it. Such as the glass panels, which are readily accessible from eBay and reels, which I already have and of course various circuit boards and all that. I will be designing new LED boards with warm-white and cold-white lighting to mimic the lightbulbs and some other various PCBs for when its needed.


However, the really difficult part to build is of course the door and I'm wondering if you guys could help me out where I could acquire one. I know that this is a very heavy part and the shipping will most probably be quite high, but really.. I can't build it myself so I really need to find one in a decent condition at least


I also want to know exactly what kind of machine this is that I have linked here. Is this an S2000 or and S+ machine? It is anyhow the type of machine I'm looking to build. Is there perhaps anyone here on this forum who have this exact machine with Double Diamond?


Well, before we make a book out of this first post, I guess I better stop here for now




I really hope you guys can help me out as it has proved this far quite hard to find just the door.
