Barcrest power issues

Hello everyone, I just purchased a S2000 King Cash Barcrest. As I was going through the machine to get a better Idea of what might need to be done to it I noticed a few things I am not used to seeing in a S2000 . One of them being this power cable in the top enclosure and the other being this ribbon cable on the bottom, any thoughts?

The grey/yellow one hanging down from the power distribution box  is the COMM harness that runs from the power distribution box up to either a small COMM board behind the reels on the back wall or straight up to the topbox.

That MUST be connected in order for the MPU to communicate with the topbox unit.


That black cord in the topbox you're showing is 115 volts AC power cord.

I don't know why they have that in there.
