Top door half locked half unlocked the lstch stuck 1/3 ogf the way down

After changing from Ruby slippers to some doble reel rich devil I think I accidentally closed the top door without unlocking the tubular lock. The result is that I cant get the key to turn to lock or unlock and the latch is stuck almost closed but not all the way what should I do. My partner wants to just drill through the tubular lock is this a good Idea. Please help I cant turn the machihne off or switch game or do anything with the top door stuk in the half locked hal unlocke dposition,

We've already tried to start drilling the tubular lock and broke a drill bit; is this our only option? Also, is this dangerous? My only concern is accidentally drilling through a wire or important connection that runs past the lock on to top door. Is there any easier wasy to do this PLEASE GUYS, ANY help would be seriously Appreciated, I don't want to mess up a $3000 machine. The tubular lock is no issue I bough bulk uncoded with a million matching keyssiitting in my safe. I just need to know If A: is there any easier way to do this, and B: if not Where to I need to be careful drilling are there any electronics that I could ruin haphazardly drilling. Please guys I beg your wisdom on knowledge!

File down the tit off one of the keys then it will go into the lock in any position.

the key will only go 1/4 of the way in the lock and is jammed. It will not turn either way to locked or unlocked.

When you say top door on a bb cabinet, you mean the main door where the monitor is at?  Since the door is jammed, the only way to undo that is to drill it out and "punch" all the way through the lock so the cam just falls off, letting you unlatch the door again.  I have never drilled though a cam before (I always remove all cam locks that keep me from opening the cabinet doors), others might have a better idea on what type of bit to use, though I would assume you would need one of those metal titanium drill bits.

yup, thanks for the help guys sorry i forgot to close it up. I just drilled through and added a new lock. Thank god I bought those locks in keys in a bulk pack but i always hate wasting things if i don’t have to. Issue resolved.
