Colors way off

Hope someone can help me with this. The red is orange. How do I adjust the color/tint ?

You may need to clear the credits on the machine to get to all the menus, play them off - it's easy to lose almost every hand if you try...

Open the door, press the white test button, this will bring up the menus.
Each time you press it a different menu and 'option' will get displayed.
Check them out if you haven't done this before.
Press the button until you get to the color display test - RED , GREEN, BLUE, character colors
If the RED GREEN and BLUE test screens don't look right, you will need to repair the board, no adjustment potentiometers. Usually replacing all 19 capacitors will do the trick, and highly recommended on these monitors. If not you may need to work on the color circuit(s), usually replacing one or more of the transistors in the color circuit will bring everything back to working and looking good.
There will be pattern screen also if you want to center the display up, use the 5 potentiometers mounted above the monitor to adjust - Horz, Vert, Bright etc. Be careful adjusting these pots they are pretty fragile and may be touchy. They kind pop up out of the mount, a bit hard to describe but you will see what I mean when you adjust them. They can be put back in place but a bit of a knack, they are 'keyed'...

I already did the 19 cap replacement a lil while back. This new issue just arose about a week ago. Any more info on the color circuit part. Please

Best I can suggest. It looks to me the RED color is active/bleeding all the time?

Replace the 3 transistors associated with the RED color circuit. 2 each 2SA1370 PNP (87R & 91R), 1 each 2SC3467 NPN (83R).

You can use 2SA1371 (PNP) and 2SC3468 (NPN), they are the same device just a higher voltage rating.

I know i have posted a couple of quick and more common fixes but you are able to go above and beyond to the root of the problems where the majority of us can't - keep up the good work !!

Thanks for the thank you. Good to know I'm actually helping and the moderators appreciate what I can do to help.

I've only been here with the forum a couple of years (wow it's been 3) and it is good to hear I have been helpful. It's what I do. I was hoping I wasn't stepping into areas that I shouldn't be. There are a lot of good people here and very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoy the electronic troubleshooting and repair. I've been working in the semiconductor industry almost my entire working career 40+ years. Worked on and repaired a lot of items in that time. I have always tried to share my knowledge freely when ever possible. I am still working full time repairing everything to help keep the tools running at work and do the same work as a hobby now with machines, so I do this almost every waking moment. Repairing power supplies for many members and trying not to get overwhelmed, but I do have a lot on my plate LOL.

Learned a lot about the S+ when I put the Arduino in one to control everything. Worked good but needs more refining before that would be able to be offered to others. I got ahold of a bunch of machines and parts and I am hoping one day to get them all done or gone, just need to not pick up any more good deals.  I would like to do a couple projects like the Arduino replacement and can see getting an inexpensive DIY LCD replacement for the CRT's would be appreciated my many. Thinking mostly the 1492 in the PE+ machines.

Any way, looks like I am here for the duration. I enjoy doing this and helping members enjoy their machines, keeping them running and out of the landfills and scrap heaps.

As silly as it sounds, give the monitor a light thump (don't worry, the viewing end of a CRT is an inch thick and they have put up with abusive gamblers for 30 years) and see if the green comes back, it could be a flaky connector or a cracked solder joint if it comes good for a split second.

Think you were right. I took out the 1492 and cleaned with alcohol and resolderd some points and bam red is red. But now I got these lines back

The white lines are the retrace lines I believe. I notice after it warms up some, they sometimes get better, or fade some. I think turning one of the adjustments on the flyback transformer down is supposed to fix that. I would leave it alone. I tried to turn the adjustment once and ruined the flyback, at least messed it up bad. The adjustments are 'potted' or have locking substance on them and most of the time too much to get them loose to adjust without messing them up. If
