IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: haywire deluxe chip change (will it reset existing options selected?)« Last post by sixcardmark on Today at 11:24:24 AM »replacing game chip from ss6422 to a better paying chip of ss6417. will this change all my settings and disable bill validator or only change payouts? S+ type 21 haywire deluxe 3 coin 25 cent machine with a SP1085 chipNo, changing the reel chip will not change anything else, it will only raise the payback %, BV will still work. All credits on machine will be lost. 24
Aristocrat Video Gaming Machines / Cfast to SATA adapter ?« Last post by KAD on Today at 11:04:13 AM »Hi folks, I ordered me an MK7 WS. To play Gen 8 games I understand I will need to convert Cfast to CF. One way is to transfer file image over to a CF card.
The other way is to use an Cfast to SATA adapter. Can anyone tell me exactly what cables I need for the adapter? Thanks. 25
IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: Upgrade from 501 board to 504?« Last post by Newbooty on Today at 11:00:12 AM »Thanks for the link. I stayed up late last night reading all of threads. I think the issue for me and others just getting into these machines, is how each chip controls the machine. My confusion has been that I have an S2000, but I didn't know it was running an S+ game.
So I found (SB100062 Triple Triple Diamond) on ebay. From what I read. I should be able just to remove the old SB001000 and the payout chip. Install SB100062 keychip and I should be able to set all of the most parameters via a 00045 key including payout. Is that correct? Is a clear needed? This link thread really helped me understand the difference between the old chips and the SB chips. https://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=12514.0 26

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally 809-N« Last post by shortrackskater on Today at 09:17:10 AM »When I drop in the first coin is the light sometimes gets stuck on the second coin row and hums. Its like it doesn't want to reset the counter. Is there an adjustment to be made? I tried to post a video but the file was too big. Put the video on YouTube and post the link here. That part is a transformer. Likely, since your machine is mostly working, it's fine and it's not black from an overload and high heat. If there are issues later, you may be asked to check output voltages. Be careful... there's high voltage there! |
