On to cleaning up the encoder. The encoder had a $1 set up, I changed it to 25¢. I don't know if this will work, but I will give it a shot.
You would normally have to: 1). Change the black plastic encoder coin guide to one that has the guide to force quarters to the left, so they fall between the infrared beams of the ABC optics. 2). Swap the coin head on the door to where the coin slot is smaller. 3). Install a larger diameter wheel shelf on the coin hopper plate where the quarter would sit higher up to be read by the hopper optics, and re-adjusting the wheel knife to sit on top of the shelf.

Long story short, new machine to me. Did a clear (many times) and I always get to the point where the machine says Game Disabled. I feel like I’m missing something simple.
I’ve tried several different jurisdictions, coin in, bill acceptor is bad, so set that up for none. Tried both SAS and none for primary host, all of the settings that are recommended from stuff I’ve found here. At a loss. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the help, Chris-socal. Honestly, I did not see where to put the terminal ID.... I guess I missed where that entry goes... I've tried a few options but will try CREDIT. Sorry, probably my fault as I switched both 7 and 8 when putting the new game on, (Turns out the damn game is a bad eprom, so it was a total waste.. lol)

Hi Guys, Actually, I used the video you refer'd in your reply, thanks! But the video says NO HOPPER so I did not think that addressed my issue. Nonetheless, I did set the residual credit as it suggested. Thanks for looking into it, I really do appreciate it!

To give a better idea how decent these buttons actually are, here is a picture that represents them pretty well. These 5 are already sold but the quality of the screen content is on par with these. The edge-lighting in the picture may be stronger than most is the only real major difference. Probably have 50+ and again, discounts on quantities.

The photo was taken with the door closed. Does this mean there is a door closure sensor fault? How can I "jump" it out? Second, how do I clear the BV and logic door open closure messages?
Here are some more pictures.
Many thanks for your help!

Re: the lights,
Checking the actual light, socket, and wire connection tab would be first then proceed from there.
The buzz from the handle pull might be coming from the handle release coil/switches. Try inserting a coin or depressing the coin trip wire. Wait a few seconds and slowly pull the handle. See if that makes a difference, buzz or no buzz.
The bell and service/change light I believe operate on the same common solid blue wire. There’s also the red wire that signals the bell when a jackpot is made. Check the light(s) in the fixture on top of the machine. The blue and or black/yellow wires should be traceable back to the switch. Wire colors are from memory and may be different in your machine.

The machine had no credits. Do you think using the 17 keychip could cause this behavior?

Thats a good reference video Shortrackskater.
Skypilot, After you do the reset are you going into configuration and setting terminal ID 111111111?
Something doesn’t look right in the residual gamble mode, shouldn’t it be Credit?
My setup cheat-sheet says to set coin accept as coin acceptor only. Looks like some machines have coin optic decoders. Mine doesn’t.
