Since it's not connected to a machine, I think (and my brain is rusty on this) if you short together the two leads that normally get the coin pulse from the machine and keep them shorted for about five seconds, it will tell the controller that the jackpot has been reset.
Thank you for your reply and sorry for the lag on this. I cannot seem to finger out which of the pins on J7 would normally receive the coin in pulses. It looks like all the pins are related to serial.
J7 -
Pin 1 - NC
Pin 2 - RXD2 (current loop)
Pin 3 - Machine input 1
Pin 4 - Machine input 2 (not used)
pin 5 - TXD2+ (current loop)
pin 6 - TXD2- (current loop)
pin 7 - RI+ (RX+, RS-485)
pin 8 - RI- (RX-, RS-485)
pin 9 - DO+ (TX+, RS-485)
pin 10 - DO- (TX-, RS-485)
pin 11 - Serial Return
pin 12 - GND
pin 13 - GND
pin 14 - Voltage I/O
Which would be coin pulse?
