How do I make a sign display JP0 instead of JP07?
« on: September 17, 2014, 02:00:07 PM »
Can any one tell me how to direct the sign I am using to display the JP# I want?

It is a cham2+  Mikohn Supreme  and a con2i. I assume that I will need to do this using a hyper terminal window like I would the panel size but I am not sure about what the command is??

No hyperterm needed.
Switch the switch on the cham II  use the two buttons next to the switch.
Get to display then toggle through a few menus were it has jp7 or whatever it is set on then use the other button until it shows jp0. Switch back to run and you should be good to go.

I'm not where I can get to one of mine for the exact sequence I will be in a few hours if you are still having problems.

You know what? Turns out I am an idiot. I knew that somewhere in the back of my head. Should be easy to find because it's so empty. If I have trouble I will let you know. Thanks.

Ok, I made a mistake. It is not a chamII+ it is a supreme board.  :duh:

Most frustratingly on top of being wrong about that I already had the board set to JP0. It is still displaying the jackpot information for JP7 however. :hissyfit:

The sign is set to JP0 and jackpot group 0. Idar and gdar are both 64.

Any one know what I am doing wrong? Could I have the harness wrong? Would that matter?

It has been a while since I played with supremes and CON2I set ups.
I'll have to pull one out and play with it. I just can't remember off the top of my head.
Check with idesign he may have the quick answer.

For the Cham II+ you have to change the jackpot group to 0 using the switch and buttons on the Cham II+.
If you are using a custom message in the Cham ii+ change the jackpot token to 0 as well.
