Bally 6000 "IN THE MONEY" HELP MPU CPU EPROMS HELP PLEASE!!
« on: November 14, 2015, 02:26:08 PM »
Hello everyone. I recently purchased a Bally "IN THE MONEY" slot machine. I believe it is a model Bally 6000. Is that correct? I would like to get this machine up and running. I believe I need the "MPU board", and the "eproms" and a bill taker thingy . When I plug it in, it does light up, and says "Copyright Bally, all rights reserved" or something to that effect. My question is what all do I need to buy, and how hard would it be to get this thing going? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thaks

Yeah it looks like you need a cpu board, bv/housing/cashbox, and it looks like it still has a seiko gen1 printer tray.

edit: yes, that is a bally S6000 also.

Actually you're missing the entire BV mounting box (for lack of a better term).  The housing would go into that box, and it would have a door with holes for locks as well as a switch.

Yup, that's what you'll be mounting your BV housing in.

Ok, Thanks JonM287!  Provided i get the parts, and everything else is in operating condition, how difficult would it be to "install" the parts and get it going?

Yup, you need a bunch of stuff. I'll start gathering things up tomorrow and give you an idea on cost. The ticket printer is an option as you most likely won't be able to print tickets anyway. Only certain MPU mains will allow ticket printing without the casino host system.

Ok, that sounds good. I appreciate the help on this LINDAM.
I will wait to hear from you... Thanks again :applause:  I just want to be able to get it functional. I don't suppose I need a printer...
