Ah, the old rubber bumper zero stop adjustment.
You had to FIRMLY put your thumnail on the rubber to keep it from moving when you titened the bolt...jfyi.

The OP, requested pic's of behind payout disc on 873 hopper.  Figured I send additional pic's showing difference in ages of payout & hopper.   Zero switches, payout disc, solenoid location.  OP is checking wiring.
