These are 12/13. I don't have an IDO3 file to flash them.

Are these the WBA-12-SS?  Can they be flashed for a Bally V7200 (ID003)?

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: IGT S+ Strange Issue
« Last post by jay on Today at 12:54:41 PM »
Slots are illegal - not boards, Simply ship it as electronic board. Even a slot running on tokens or free play could be called an animated lamp, no accounting for taste.

People get past gun laws by shipping parts around all the time. Not that I recommend nor condone it. BTW I am Canadian and we have strict gun ownership laws here (no handguns allowed).

16mhz uses a different game chip, as the volume control is software and not a physical dial like on the 10mhz boards.
The other thing to note is that the chips - both the game and SP chip have to be faster.
The "original" SS (reel chips) are usually too slow and you had to get special versions for the 16mhz board.

If you burn your own chips - all the modern blanks are about 2x-3x faster than the min required by these things so that is never a worry.

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: IGT S+ Strange Issue

Sorry for the late update, I did pull a board from another slant and it worked no problem, dropped the other one back in and tried all the game chips I have and still 61 wont ding press button ( white ) count to 5, and it just stays on 61. Did a RAM clear and ended up with the same results. Used other reel chips I have and still the same thing. I do have a 16MHz board` (Bran stinkin new, I bought it way way back when I first started fixing slots to be used as a backup. Ebay seller didnt list the MHz but back then I probably wouldnt have noticed anyways, I did some reading an found it the 16's used a special SP chip, I found one but but my bubble was quickly popped when none of the games Im running now and 2 in boxes ( glass, reel strips and chips but nothing I have was listed ) would with the chip I have,  and if its the board like I thought it might be,  cant be shipped where I live now. At least that was the " rules " in Ebay 3 years ago. Does anyone here have a 10MHz they wouldn't mind shipping here? Been here since 6/20 just when all the covid crap began and so far, there hasn't been any house to house search warrents looking for illeagal slot machines but yet they have 4 differen dailyt draw number lotterys 3 to 4 time EVERYDAY.  Tennessee.... /me screams.

I am a newbie so please bare with me...I have a Bally GameMaker V7200 with a WBA-11-SS transport/WBA-10-SS head that has the ID003 V3.60-30 (F452) EPROM installed.  I have ripped this entire unit apart:

1. Polished every shaft
2. Cleaned every gear, belt, bushing, rollers, plastic, etc.
3. Checked continuity of every harness
4. Bench tested the motors
5. Checked all the circuit boards (one board had a solder drop shorting two diodes, that I cleaned up)

Cabinet voltage checks out, I applied an external 12VDC to run DIP switch test and nothing...not a single LED.  I suspect the EPROM may be bad.  I did some research and it seems I should be able to convert the 11-SS transport to a 13-SS by replacing the main board and transport/cabinet harnesses.

Does anyone have any input on troubleshooting this unit further or where I can find a conversion kit?

Thanks!

Bally Alpha Reel Games / Re: S9000 Alpha - Strange Top Screen Off-Set
« Last post by stlscott on Today at 10:05:51 AM »
I ran thru several reboots during the initial setup and got this strange off-set/overlapping screen... during boot-up and during play.  At the end of the night, I powered it off like usual and went to bed.  Yesterday, when I powered it back up, it came up normal and looking like it's supposed to, so strange!

The first song on your playlist is Jump, Jive, An' Wail by Louis Prima. On my casino room wall,  I have an autographed photo of him from the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  :propeller:
