Set chip questions on MK6

I've got the set chips, extender board, and had some questions. When I use the set chips, does it clear all settings, some settings, or can you go through like with the Audit menu and make changes to existing ones.


The reason I ask is that I'd like to photograph each screen as it is before. That way, if something goes wrong, I can reset to the original settings (especially since using the set chip voids my warranty).

If I remember right you can get into your settings and take pics BEFORE you use your riser board with clear/set eproms...
I think if you turn the key it will take you into the setting menu. There is not much you can change but you can view your current settings.
Once you get into the clear, it clears all your settings. Most important is you know your game type. Until I figured the correct setting I fought to get things set up.

I learned by reading through the NLG archives. If you get hung up there are a lot of peeps here to help you get back up and running...

The guy I bought my first Aristocrat cabinet from told me that I could never figure out how to set up a new game. That was the motivation I needed, to prove him wrong...
