AVP G20 Shadow data corrupted

I have wiped and tested the safe storage, cabinet memory.  I wiped the hard drive.  I installed just the OS and on reboot get the error.

Try a different OS loader.  The OS may be corrupt.  Did you do a key flick after the error prompt to see if the error cleared?  Could be a bad HD too.  All the above are possible solutions.

I have only one OS, but two good copies of it.  Both failed.  Let me see if I have another HD to try.  Thanks

Tried a new hard drive and same results

What OS are you using and what boot chips.  Some boot chips required both OS and game loader to be loaded on boot up along with license dongle.

I was able to get my hands on another boot card and it now gets past that error on to the new one

FYI: Before you toss your old O/I card, pull the batteries from it and Wipe with the batteries removed.  Looking at ebay, those cards ain't cheap.  Battery voltage on both batteries should be above 2.9 to 3.0+ volts. They get wishy-washy at 2.8 or lower.

I just had this same error on a G20. Chased my tail for awhile, and found this thread for help. Anyhow, my machine is fixed, and I want to share what the culprit was in case others encounter this. Anyway, it ended up being a bad PCI cable.
