AVP loud fans?

Maybe I just never noticed it in a casino but this thing sounds like a server and has the fans on turbo. Is this normal?

Due to this I have been trying to fix this by replacing some fans with Noctua PC fans.

I replaced the main two fans with some Noctua NF-A9 PWM and use them with DC Buck Converters For the brainbox fan I ordered a NF-A9. For the CPU fan I got a NF-A4x10. 4 of the NF-A6 for the monitor.

So far the noise is much better. I have been monitoring the temps and I did add an extra fan to the brainbox using the extra header provided. The Noctua silicone anti vibration mounts fit through the holes on the bottom and allow another fan for a push-pull configuration.

Quiet frankly I have no idea how this thing generates so much heat. It's a friggen laptop CPU.

Yeah, the fans on all these things push a lot of air.  Since they are meant to be on 24x7, and IGT cabinets have a lot of fans.  Most of the noise from my machine is probably from the mld display.  The only cabinet I own where the fan noise is not an issue is my Aristocrat Viridian cabinet.
