Sorry to say it does not look much better.
If you're good at working on boards there has been a recent post on how to modify a bad board having your issues but it's not for the faint of heart.

Hmmm - it was mentioned way back in reply #11 and again in reply #15 to inspect the board carefully for signs of battery leakage damage, especially in the area where the battery is/was mounted. Not sure how this was missed, it's pretty easy to see in your photo. The original battery called BT2 is not needed for the machine to operate for home use, someone must have removed it from your board. That makes it easy to see all these damaged board circuits. As you can see the battery was removed too late. All it takes is for one of those board traces to be eaten open and the board will have a failure.

and I didn't know that there was a 2nd battery in them when they were used at the casinos. I guess this could cause corrosion quickly if the battery wasn't pulled out especially if it was dead.. thanks again..

yes, that battery originally located on the board at BT2 is called a Varta battery (that's the brand name), it is green in color. It is notorious for leaking after several years and causing damage to the circuit board. The purpose of that battery is not needed when the machine is being used outside of a casino like in a private home. Any machine or mpu board you get should be inspected for this problem. If the green Varta battery is present then remove it. And check the BT2 area on the mpu board carefully for signs of battery leakage, sometimes if you catch it soon enough you can save the board by cleaning it thoroughly.

The other battery is needed, it is a "coin" shaped battery in the corner of the board.

Good to hear that you got a board working. You MPU that you bought is about the going rate. Hopefully it was tested by the seller.
Please remember to make a donation to NLG for mine/our help in repairing your machines problem.. Your donations help keep this site on line.
And remember...
If it's jammed, force it.. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyways...
