CRT Monitor White line

Wondering if anyone can tell me if cap kit and/or flyback transformer replacement might clear up this white line problem. I believe the monitor is a WG K7400 25".  I just don't want to go thru replacing the caps and such to find out the tube is bad.  -Mike

I did some in the past with that issue and yes it did fix them.  I did both caps and flyback etc.  The thing is if it does not work your stuff will be strong for another crt unless you decide to go lcd then all that is out the window.  I like leaving my stuff original.

Thanks, will give it a shot. Going LCD isn't really an option because of the size of it ($$$).  If it took a regular arcade 4:3 19" I would consider it but being a 25" it's a big hole to fill and the lcd's start getting pricey up in that range as well as the converter card to convert it.  Thanks.

Any idea about getting info for this monitor?  I have tried google searches so I can get cap kit for it but apparently I am the only one on earth that has one.  The stickers clearly say it is a WG 19918180  but I find nothing for it.  It is a 25 or 27" crt, probably the original that came in this Ms Pacman/Galaga Anniversary Edition.

You should have a make and model number on the green circuit board it's self.. Your going to have to take it apart to see it.. Be very careful with the High voltage lead going to the top of the monitor.. You will need to discharge the voltage before removing that lead.. Your best bet it to google or you tube how to do this if you already don't know how to do this safely..

Keep in mind that your vertical output transistor is likely shot also. LCD may be the way to go...
