Hello 😉

IGT S2000

I have no lights in my multidenom touch pad but the touch pad it self is working great without any problems.. I have tried with a new touch pad kit and I have tried with new seven segment display board but the light still donâ€™t work. Can it be the main board or something else?

It suddenly stopped working while I was playing..

Have you replaced the led board behind the actual touchpad?
If so, you maybe looking at a broken wire.

Yes I also tried to change the led board and the wire without any luck.

Did you swap the display as well that it plugs into?

Try reseating your I/O cards and MPU. In the menu, go to 4 and try lamp test.

Yes I also changed the seven segment display board that is connected to the MD touch pad without any luck.

Do I have to key the machine to reset it or can I do it some other way ?

I only find reel lamps test in the menu 4.10.

I donâ€™t think clearing it will do anything.did you try to reseat it boards ?

Yes I did reseat the board and even tried several different boards as well.

You can try a cleat but not sure of that will do anything.
I think it maybe a bad wire or connection

I was hoping not to clear the machine since I have installed the better Tito deluxe and I spend som time to make it 🙈

I have change all the wires that goes from the touch pad and what other wire can it be ?

One thing, I know you said you changed the led board but have you tried it in another machine to verify it is the machine and not the led board?

I only have this s2000 machine but I have tried three different touch pad led boards, I would be surprise if non of them are working..

Can the problem be on the mother board or somewhere in the back off the slot machine where itâ€™s a jungle of wires, or does it has to be somewhere in the front door ?

This issue gives me a headache since I have tried almost everything ;(

When you said you "tried it with a new touchpad kit", did you also change the harness that goes to it?
I suspect a broken ground wire or pin not fully inserted.
That harness uses the smallest wiring pins I've ever worked with and I build harnesses by buying the appropriately sized Molex headers and pins.

I bought a new complete multi denom touch pad kit with harness and everything,
even a new 663 display board and changed them both and the LED light [size=78%]still donâ€™t work, [/size]
so I think the problem is somewhere else Iâ€™m afraid..

Can you show us a clear photo of the connections to the denom lights?

The harness on the left is backwards on both ends from mine.
