Quack Shot Bonus Device Error

Recently a customer took a surge and knocked the bonus device out. I replaced the whole top box and reworded the powers supply plug that had a burn in it. Cleared the machine and reprogrammed. The lights on the top box come up except the top two pictures on the top row to the left. Can not get it to install or communicate with the machine. At one point I changed the bottom power supply and was able to get all lights up and the error to go away but I left out the first feel so I turned the machine off replaced the reel and when I turned the machine back on I lost the two lights again and the error returned. What am I missing?

Same crap with a Quack Shot here.  Turned out to be a bad power supply in the top box.  My connectors were also all burned up.  Replaced so getting a good connection.  The lights on that top box draw a ton of power, hard on power supplies.  I would be probing in this direction for starters.
