Will 1270 Enhanced Board work on Vision?

I'm sure most of you know I am a S2000 Vision guy. With 17 machines in my collection. Can I put a 1270 Enhanced Board in them in place of a 502 or 504? I am thinking that the answer is no. Can anyone confirm yes or no?

I'm guessing no one has tried vision software in a 1270. I had a possible lead on NOS 1270 and backplane. No need if it won't work for me. 502 and 504 boards seem to be scarce

I have. The only issue you may run into is Vision games usually run specific 3XX SG's and that caused reel tilts when you first turn the machine ON, then it was fine till you turn it off.

I had that in a Pink Panther Bucks btw.

I had read about reel tilts using 363's on non vision games. It looks like a lot of vision games can use 248's or 380's. Maybe can be used with 248's then

Right, but 1270's like 5XX. My point that reel tilts are almost unavoidable with that setup.

Yep, that's why it didn't bother me.. Plus, I only had enhanced machines at the time when building up a couple visions I wanted. - Not a biggie, but obviously a 504b would be the way to go to avoid all that.

Actually, now that I think about it, Vision use the top for audio.. So you could use anything (I think) and avoid the BS hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm the 501-2's give off. That's usually a MMLB thing on those shitty boards..
