Bally 1008 Schematic or “where does this wire go?”
« on: December 21, 2020, 02:38:16 PM »
I am working on getting a 3 wheel, nickel Bally EM1008 working.  During trouble shooting I found that the bottom solenoid on the hopper was bad and there was a wire loose.  See picture.  I am not sure where that wire goes.  I have a feeling it goes where the tape is located (I put the tape there).  It is a brown and white wire.  Any help is appreciated.

schematic for an 1008-3 is on http://bingo.cdyn.com/slots/ - see delay relay circuit around schem D2

based on that, yup, the 47 ohm resistor goes on the spot you indicated.  There should also be a grey wire (90-1) there.

Thank you very much.  I will connect once I get the replacement solenoid.  The one they sent was a dud.  I will also check out the Schematic at the link you sent.
