WMS Bluebird 2 HDD Issue

Dear Everyone,


I have never before worked with WMS Slot machines and i need your assistance if possible.


Today i have received 10 Bluebird 2 machines, 7 of them doesn't have HDD and 3 does.


What is the function of the HDD, since they have OS and Game CF Cards? Can i buy 7 HDD's clone one of them to the other 7 and insert to the machines which don't have? Will that work?

Get yourself some replacement hard drives and install them in the machine.

Run a clear with a clear card.

Install and setup the game.

No reason to try and clone anything.

As long as the machine see's the drive you are good, they don't need to be very big, 40 is more than enough but they are getting tough to find.

As long as the machine see's the drive you are good, they don't need to be very big, 40 is more than enough but they are getting tough to find.


Yes the lowest i can buy here is 120GB SSD :)) well i will buy one and try out, if it works i will buy the rest and finish everything, thank you once again! i just skipped huge part of experiments thanks to you :)

This is the same drive as the ones in the 3 machines which have drives, but i need to have the machines ready by Monday so that is not an option, ordering and shipping this drivers from ebay will take a long time to arrive at where i am from. Anyway thank you for the link! :)

I’ve used a Sandisk SSD in mine for years.  Works great!
