SP or SET Eprom #'s Is there a list?
« on: April 16, 2024, 01:34:33 AM »
I keep seeing in many posts about SP Eprom CHip #s   I.E.  SP1271   SP731   SET015
not sure what all these mean?  Is there a master list available of what the different types are and what they are used for?
I tried to search but found nothing. Thank you in advance.

Also are there EEPROMS available to download and burn? I did find some sellers selling EEPROMs on ebay but they don't say what they are used for.

Sorry for my noobie confusion. Thanks in Advance for your help.

I am interested since i just aquired at 1994 IGT S Plus Slant Top Double Diamond Machine and get a few errors and found the forums and documentation available for download extremely helpful.
Just became a member and it was the best money spend so far. This place rocks as it has some great people helping!!!!

Look in the S+ Forum under the FAQ Section.

There are lists describing the various types of SP Chips and which SET is required for each one.

Also see the Game Bible for a list of S+ Games.

Plus, there's a lot of other great information concerning the S+ machines to help troubleshoot and repair common problems with this platform.
