For the last year or so I had a SIGMA Joker's Wild (Model HR-IM)
I am happy to announce with the help of people on here & a big push over the finish line with parts and knowledge from @Trisail it is back alive and running 100%.
Issues from the project:
- Line chord was broken and shorting out.
-12 Volt Power supply was shorted out.
-Hopper knife had three nickels jammed under it (& bent it out)
-Reset switch wires were cut and hanging
-No keys came with this game at all, but luckily was unlocked
-Video out connection disconnected and jammed behind the board
-13 inch TOAI monitor had full screen burn, burned out diodes, most likely dead caps.
-light behind the glass to the right of the monitor had broken ground connection & blown bulb.
-It needed a general cleaning badly.
-Dirty optical sensors on coin door not reading[/li][/list]
Everything on the above list was fixed. Both power supplies replaced. New monitor was located and adapted for this game by @Trisail I then swapped it into the original monitor case. This screen looks brand new with no burn at all.
I also built and added a drink dispenser to the "Change or Service" button. So you can now play and have it pour 2 fingers or any liquor you want just by pushing that button.
I've successfully run the game now for 12 hours with zero issues.
Game counters:
*Mechanical counts from when I got it:
416,681 plays | Assuming each game was 5 quarters per play, the intake is $2,083,405. | Payout according to the mechanical counter was 222,805.75. That would mean a profit for the owner of $1,860,599.25
Pictures attached. Another SIGMA lives to play another day.
