This is a cut and paste response... it's actually here on this forum but two pages back! It came from the old site when all this was migrated over manually. I have a list of other passwords if that doesn't work. I hope they're still on the piece of paper stuffed in my machine.
I had a Gambler Series machine with the same issue.
After going thru all the menus I was not able to clear the error.
I removed the battery and placed the board on the shelf. A year latter I re-soldered in the battery and installed the board.
The error was gone

Yes, I had a tech give me a backdoor code. This way you can always get in even if the previous operator had set up a password.
I'll dig it out of my machine today.
The user I/D was 1492 (Columbus sailed the ocean blue)
but I forget the password. That's what I have to look up. CRS tells me it was 123456

Yeah..It may have been that. I worked for United a loooong time ago and it sounds familiar. I'll give it a try. Thanks
