My curse of the Coronavirus continues on my machines, Alpha M9000

I have a Playboy Free Games video Alpha machine that when I came home to play it today it won't take in any Bill's at all. Using an MEI Cashflow BV & the green LED light on it is blinking once every 3 seconds, I believe it should be steady. Validator door is shut, main door is shut, cash box in all the way but when I turn the reset key on the right side it's showing BillVal Com Error. Just to be safe I cleared it & enabled Mars Bill Acceptor along with the rest of the settings but it's still not taking in a bill, bill bezel light is not on & the BV is still flashing the green LED once every 3 seconds. What else could I try possibly?

If you have another mei validator try replacing the control board that is inside the validator cage.  This part tends to fail in mei's.

Its something to do with the machine itself because I took that MEI out & put into another machine & its working just fine

You swapped heads, but did you also swap the little green control board that is on the validator cage?

No sir, how do I remove that board?

Need to remove the entire metal cash box housing?

After you remove the head and the cash can, you can just pull it forward.  It is only held on by friction on the two edge connectors on the back.

I tried another small green board but am still just getting the green LED to flash once every 3 seconds & still want take a bill nor does the bill bezel light come on

pull out and inspect pins in the back of the mpu and re-insert.  If the validator is working on another machine, then also check to make sure nothing happened with the harness, make sure nothing got damaged or loose.
