What is WAP - Do I have it

Attached is a pic of the box that has a WAP and EZPAY connector(?).  I noticed that I have a white plug(?) in the WAP connector.
Question si:
  What is WAP and does that plug mean it is an option that has been installed and operational ?

WAP stands for Wide Area Progressive and no, your machine would have had it removed by the casino when the machine was removed from service. There are communications boards available, though quite rare, that allow for titles like WOF to be used in the home environment. They require special programming to work and like the boards, that programming is hard to find. 777Sizzler is one of the resident experts on this

Glad to help. If you trace the plug back you will likely find cut wires at the end of it. There can be a huge amount of dead end wiring in the average game coming off a casino floor because it's just not cost effective to strip it all out. Most of it is related to casino back end computer tie ins for game monitoring, progressive links and TITO tracking

Is the 2600 Rev. A WAP E Z Pay like DocPaul1 has interchangeable with a WAP E Z Pay 2601 Rev A ?

Revisions in part numbers that are small increments are minor revisions to hardware, sometimes they just change a component OEM and they have to make the change to the part number due to jurisdictional requirements.  To answer the other question in the OP about the white plug.  The 3 connectors seen together on your photo are fiber optic connectors.  The white plug is there to protect the emitter.  Scratched up emitters are worthless, the other 2 plugs probably had stuff connected to them when in the casino, that is why they are missing.  But it's just a rubber plug, and nothing else.
