wba-13-ss bill validator worked fine now rejects bills

anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated
thank you in advance!!


i have a wms bb1 with a wba -13-ss bill validator that has been working fine for a year or more
now any bill i put in it takes it completely in but then spitsit right back out.
i took it out of machine and cleaned the sensors and magnets inside the head and also cleaned the belts.
put all back in and i did get it to take 4-$20 bills in a row but that was it now it spits them out again and the lights are green on the front yellow bezel.
any suggestions?
or do i need a new head or carrier or both

Is your Bezel lit ?
If so its ready to accept bills. If not then I would be looking at the cash can, belly door and other (optic ??) sensors that would inhibit bill operation.

Failing that.....
If you go to HAPP, you can buy a cleaning card and a calibration card.
The cleaning cards probably won't do much more than what you have already done by taking the unit apart - typically a casino would use these first and if that fails they would replace the head and take it apart for a more in-depth cleaning or perhaps swap it with the manufacturer.

I believe the Calibration card is read and aligns the head. This seems more likely. You might also check the tension on your belts.

can you provide a link for the calibration card for wba 13 ss, havent seen one for sale online anywhere for a long time

thank you all for your help its much appreciated!!


i just got back from my friends and he also has pretty much the same bb1 and bill validator.
i put his in transport and all and his sensor head and it worked fine.


so process of elimination by swapping sensor heads and transports i figured out that my sensor head is good but the transport is bad i guess.
so at this point i guess i will need to purchase a new transport unless anybody has any ideas on fixing mine?
