WBA 12 Head/WBA 13 Transport

I have a Bally 6000 Blazing 7's that I've been working on getting going, replaced MPU (getting weird errors and results from old one), bought progressive display, and bought a bill validator, all from vendors here. MPU seems to be working good, progressive still have to program lol, but the BV doesn't seem to want to work at all. I'm new to BV's and could use some assistance


Not sure if the head and transport are compatible maybe? Being the head is a 12 and transport is 13? IDK but it leeps throwing either a 5027 error or 5029 error at me and will not work, on the outside bezel it has the arrows and the red circle with a line, red circle is on all the time. Have checked the harness wiring, looks solid on both ends, connector on BV looks good also. It also makes a lot of noise, probably needs a good cleaning of the gears I'm guessing. Any ideas on how to clear the 27 and 29 codes?


BTW cash can seems to be working properly too, did try to remove it and just jumper wires but BV wouldn't even cycle if it wasn't in place, gear placement pressure I'm guessing?

The 12 head is not a problem. 12/13 are virtually the same except 12 has to be flashed & 13 uses an eprom. Check the chip on the transport to make sure it is ID003 if it has a label on it at all.

It does indeed say ID003 on it, at least the transport does. Haven't pulled the head off to see what that one is honestly

i wont make a difference what the head says, typically what the head says is what jcm put on it when they sold them

I'm almost guessing it's a configuration issue. I can get it to work using the diagnostic menus, 4 I believe, but not normally. And I cannot get the printer working at all either. Don't have a hopper or any coin handling at all.
