Check your chips on the MPU. Are any legs bent or broken or not inserted in the socket? Could also be a bad I/O board on the front door. Or possibly the ribbon cable came loose from the VFD display. We need to get that display lit to see what's wrong

I had a 504 MPU just die back around Christmas. The machine was turned on and the machine wouldn’t boot, and the yellow MPU lights were lite and the red one was flashing very fast. Board looked perfect, Varta had been removed, and the battery was good.. This MPU tested the same in a second machine. Ended up having to put a replacement MPU board??

I ordered some more Coin batteries in case the two I have are duds.  They did not come in a sealed package so who knows.

With the top orange light being on you may have a bad sram chip or a bad eeprom on the motherboard/backplane.
