Hopper Jam Error on 7200 with No Hopper

I have a coin less non hopper Gamblers Bonus/Game Maker with the black background screen. I want to make it a regular Game Maker & when I put a board in with regular Game Maker Mains & Games & then program it, it works fine, When I turn the machine off & turn it back on it shows "Game Disabled/Hopper Jam Error. I know there's a way, but I just can't find it? I tried the #5 dip switch too with no luck. Any Help or Suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you double checked your programming? Make sure you have set up your equipment (hopper - NONE, coin accept - NONE, etc). Also, check your Limits and make sure Hopper Limit - 0 (this shouldn't even be an option if Hopper is set to NONE). And you have the correct Mains for a ticket printer (mains 2003 or before, I believe, 23s?)

It doesn't have a ticket printer either. All Hand Pay machine. When I program it won't let me select Hopper option & skips it & stays Hopper/Coin? Is this the Mains or a switch etc.? I have 14 & 24 Mains on the board I'm working with from my other 7200 with a hopper. Thanks

Ok, seems like we had this a month or so ago. Where did you get the game chips? Did they come in the machine or did you order them from somewhere?


I'm guessing you cleared this machine, removed the Clear chip, all that. I wish there was an easy way to see your settings, but there's not! Bally's are funny, as you have to set certain things before it allows other options to "open up" and be set. Obviously, if you were not able to select Hopper - NONE, then there in lies your problem. Let me see if I have any notes...

Ok, here's a thread from last month that gives the set-up instructions. Naturally, you will need to change the Coin, Printer, and Hopper equipment to your specific set-up, but this will give you the order and settings for the rest of the settings.

You could jumper pin 6 to pin 9 on the hopper plug, if it is not already jumpered.
