That 4-female pin Molex is not needed for your DDD game really.
No fuses up there for you to look at all.

Check to see if the 3-wire COMM harness is plugged into the front of the Net Distribution panel in the cabinet.
Check voltage coming from the Netplex harness going to the connector at location [U10] or
plug in a regular desktop computer power supply into the 4-pin connector at Loc:[J5] on the LCD MPU.
This is a good way to see if the invertor board lights up the LCD screen and boots up the RadiSys.

No camera here at the moment.

Open the door, take out the tray & place aside.

Never remove or plug in anything with the power switch on - unless we tell you.

Or you will be buying parts forever.

Pull out the hopper and place aside.

Right behind the hopper  you'll see a red LED lamp.

Look above it and you may see a 7-pin black Molex plugged in the top left of the box that has 3 grey wires with a black stripe, an orange stripe, and the top one with a yellow stripe.

Is it plugged in there?

If so, leave the hopper and tray out and the door partly open.

Turn on the power switch and tell what happens....in detail.

I cannot stress that enough.

Make a video maybe if you can and put it here.

okay...
Your 3-wire COMM looks okay.

Can you remove the glass from the topbox and take a picture of everything in there?
I want to see the back wall behind the LCD and also in the extension plug unit in the back left side of the topbox.
I have a feeling there's something up there that isn't needed for home use and rather is used for casino COMM and not for home use.

That red LED isn't supposed to be on at all. (On the power distribution panel)
Not only that, your distribution panel box has a fuse on top that most don't have.
The black knob that is really a fuseholder.
It's on top, in front of the 1st leftmost Molex connector for 115Vac. (Do NOT disconnect with power on!)
Most units don't have a glass tube fuse there...usually it's a "re-settable" 6-amp fuse.

I'm thinking a setting ( SAS or another protocol COMM ) is still turned on that we need to disable in order for you to play it.
I don't know yet but the red LED is pointing me in this direction.
They're supposed to look like these ones and none of these have that black fuseholder like yours has.

However, the fact that the red LED came on tells me that there's power on the com board inside.

But it doesn't tell me if you're getting 12Vdc going upstairs to the LCD.
Did you ever get a chance to power up the LCD with a regular desktop power supply?
If not, you need to undo the Netplex harness going to the LCD and check the voltages coming outta that harness to see if you're getting the power.

You'd have to open the rear panel to see what the rightmost connector is.
I will guess it's a power connector running to loc:[J5] on the 486CPU.
Of course, it could also be anything else and we won't know until you open the panel.
Do that and send me a picture and I'll tell you if it's a power Molex or not.

Yep....that's an auxiliary 12 volt power connector to drive an optional LED light around the opening in the glass around the display screen.
Red/green/green/green = 12vdc/GND/GND/VCC
Your LCD doesn't need it to run because the Netplex (#4 in your picture in Reply#6) should supply the two voltages needed (25vdc & 13vdc).

Where are those 2 black wires in picture "bbb" coming thru the round hole going to?
The small double and the larger round one.
They look like 115Vac wiring?

okay...sounds like power for the topper....I didn't even see it...it's on top of your roundtop.  :rotfl:
Okay...gimmie a minute here and I'll get back to you.....get your multimeter out...we gotta check some plugs for power for the LCD computer.

First of all...does the fan (has a black wire & a red wire) on the side of the LCD computer near the memory sticks come on when you turn on the machine??

Hmm...sounds like power invertor for LCD gone bad...
This is a little video clip I tried to make for you on checking voltages going down the Netplex harness to (#4 in your picture in Reply#6).

https://youtu.be/iofmjpqdxBQ

If you're NOT getting the voltages, then the problem is further back to the Netplex Distribution board in the back wall of the topbox perhaps.

If you ARE getting the voltages, but the LCD isn't displaying the running Windows MS-DOS, then the problem is most likely with a spent/burned out LCD invertor.

The invertor lights up a tiny fluorescent tube like in cellphone screens.
It's located on the left side of the LCD computer under the fan under the metal casing.
Removal of just 2 Philips screws allows that box to open.
Basically it's a "ballast" to lite up the screen.

They look like this photo below...>>>

It's in the box on the left when looking from the back.
I described where it was in Reply#13?

If it's not there, that explains why the LCD doesn't light up! haha

Disregard the color of my inverter backlight board....I soldered a different one in there but it works because it lights up the same sized LCD backlight tubes.
Yours that you've bought, will be green for the Sharp 10.4" LQ10D421 LCD
