My game is Bally Wild 7s Jackpot 5 reel Quick Hits. The game card reads ASGQHB701001-01 Quick Hits Wild JP Triple Blazing 7s. It's a 30 line/5 play per line. What should I set my 5 jackpot levels at & percentage of each level? Thanks in advance

Just did a clear so I can set up my progressive amounts on this Quick Hits machine & now I am getting a mechanical reels not configured error message, what would I need to check for to resolve this issue?

Make sure the usb cable coming out of the rear reel backplane is connected to the mpu. Also, there's a little box on top of the reels, right in the middle. This is the reel control board. It has a green led, is it lit?

The green status LED & the USB LED are blinking but not at the same time. The status LED blimks about every 4 seconds & the USB comm just constantly blinks, checking to find that USB cable coming out of the rear backplane now

The USB cable is connected, is there anything else I can try? Still getting that same mechanical reels not configured and also getting a reel 2 and reel 4 device error

Move the reels around to see if error follows the reels. If it follow the reels, you have bad reel mechs. If it doesn't follow the reels, you probably need a new reel controller board.

I moved tgevreels around & it still shows mechanical reels not configured & still the same mechanical reel 3 & mechanical reel 2 device error. The real controller board in the middle above the reels is flashing both of the LED lights. The status is blinking every 3 seconds & the USB is flashing every second. I have another Alpha machine I can take the reel controller board out of but it's a 3 reel not a 5 reel machine, doubt if it would work for this 5 reel machine

The controllers are the same for both 3 and 5 reel, you can swap them around to see if it fixes your issue. If you are getting the same reel errors after the moving the reels around, then it is probably the controller (or in rare cases, the reel harnesses that go to the reel backplane).

I tried the reel controller out of my 3 reel machine & put it into this 5 reel Quick Hits machine, still getting the mechanical reels not configured plus also getting mechanical reels device error + mechanical reel 1,2,3,4 & 5 device error now. Should I try another MPU? And start over with a clear again?

Then you probably have a wiring issue. I would compare the wiring and usb cables between the two machines to verify that everything is connected properly. Also look for any obvious broken traces, etc on the reel backplane (immediately behind the reels).

Will do, thanks. Sorry for all the questions on these 2 machines but I'm homebound for a few weeks after surgery & trying to get these up & running, they both seem cursed so far, ha ha!

I may have found the root of my mechanical reels not configured problem. The battery holder on the rear wall motherboard has come loose from its solder joints and was not holding the 2032 battery in properly. I have another motherboard I can swap out out for but it looks like it's gonna be a pain in the butt
Other than taking a picture of where all the connectors go on the motherboard, is there something else I can do to make this swap easier?
