WTB CTB Reel Deal Poker power supply

Iam trying to repair my reel deal slot I was told it may be the power supply since the boards aren't getting power. Any help would be great!

I'm guessing you mean CDS Reel Deal slot?  UV-1510?  Take a picture of what you're looking for and post it here.  Some CDS parts aren't real easy to come by.

Yeah, that's a CDS UV-1510 machine.  Did you check the fuses in the front? 

Contact user Badbaud, they specialize in some of this older stuff and may be able to provide a replacement power supply or possibly repair yours.

Did you check the fuses on the monitor shelf?  I gave my CDS machine to my in-laws some time ago so I don't have one here that I can look at for you.  LA slots had some CDS stuff at one time, they may not anymore, but worth a try.  laslots.com

I am in LA so that works out nicely. I checked the three fuses I know about and they are pristine (as if someone has already replaced them lol). Could very well be the boards also. Sooo many possibilities. But it's a fun project. Someone today told me "it's not worth the time or the money". He is completely right but this is more about learning and fun tbh. I have had a blast repairing and learning about my s2000, and now that works lovely.

Yeah, that is pretty convenient. 

If I recall correctly the power supply is mounted on the rear cabinet wall under the MPU card cage and behind the monitor.  Maybe pull the monitor out, then you can take a look at it and see if there's fuses on it that may have blown or other signs of damage.  Don't give up on it though.  Parts can be tough to find, but you never know when something will show up.

Thank you for being positive! So far it has been a very fun hobby, but some people can be so negative! But far more I find such nice people who are so willing to help. Newlifegames, they are awesome! They gave me so much insight and knowledge, I'm actually planning a trip to Arizona around buying a slot from them. Bettor slots too, they have been incredibly nice.

Yes, there's a lot of good people here who like helping others to get machines running.  Thanks for supporting the site vendors, they are good folks for sure.
I picked up this CDS Video Poker machine at an auction in Las Vegas when I was stationed there.  Got it for $400 in brand new condition.  I don't think it was ever on the casino floor.  CDS Video Poker for some reason didn't catch on like the IGT PEII+ machines did even though CDS had touchscreens and the IGT PEII's didn't.  Maybe it was because most of the CDS video poker games went above and beyond the standard 5 card draw poker games?
