Triple Diamond IGT s2000 Machine - suggestions.....

Now that I repaired one machine and caught the slot bug, the whole family is addicted.
I'd like to buy the wife her favorite machine, the one she always tries to find in the casino.


She is kind of picky about it.. Triple Diamond, no Haywire games, 1-3 paylines, (prefer 3, but??) 25cent with coin handling. I've never played this game, but I would want a printer as well, to add tito just for more fun for me.


I see that a few of the online slot sales websites have this machine in stock and can add the options wanted.
At least 2 or 3 places with similar prices, but shipping to Oregon is ridiculous.


Any recommendations on where to buy it from? Any suggestions on where NOT to buy it from?
Any vendors on nlg able to get one of these machines for me and not break my pocket book?

Shipping is always going to be expensive since these machines are so heavy and have to be sent via Freight. Expect anywhere from $300 - $500 depending on where you live in relation to the dealer.


My suggestion is to check locally via craigslist and facebook marketplace. It may take some time, but you'll be surprised what turns up. You have an added challenge of being in Oregon because machines are only legal for self-own if they are 25 years or older. If you are willing to make a road trip out of it, Utah and Nevada are your closest states that have no restrictions, so the marketplaces in those areas will be larger.


Best of luck - and don't be too afraid to buy one that isn't working, we have a great group of people here on NLG that will help you get it working and the amount of FAQs and documentation on the S2000 platform is plenty.

You don't give a specific location so it's not clear how far you would have to go or how far you are willing to travel.  As Marc pointed out, you can check local listings in other states if you are willing to drive.  I'd add that although they aren't legal in CA, there are lots of IGT S2000s on Craigslist in the Sacramento and SF Bay Area.  I'd bet you can find S200s in WA as well.


You might also check into getting a working S2000 with a different game and changing to the game you want.  You'd probably want to figure out if the game kit you want is readily available before doing that.

I posted a similar wanted ad a few months ago and ended up coming to the same conclusion as what’s already been suggested. Craigslist, OfferUp, and Facebook Marketplace are your friend. Ive gotten all my machines through OfferUp.


But Im located in Southern California, so your region may be different.

I believe that machine in Utah is being sold by one of our members here, and if so, it will be 100% perfect.


Unfortunately, as stated earlier, shipping is high, and not expected to get any cheaper. I ship a lot from Georgia, in and out, and pay the costs. But that's about the only way for me to get machines here for my business/hobby.
