WMS Williams Video / WMS BB1 Can't Initialize CF Drive« Last post by Moose on Today at 03:00:22 PM »Hi, I have a BB1 Goldfish Video Slot. Worked fine. Haven't turned it on in a month. Now I get on the top screen Can't Initialize CF Drive. Sandisk Driver Error: 108. I reseated the CF cards but that didn't do it.
Any help would be appreciated. 3

IGT I-Game and Game King / Re: IGT Game King Multigame doesn't boot up« Last post by kmarrocco on Today at 02:40:26 PM »I'm not sure that the MPU is booting completely. You should have all LED's on except red. One of the first things initialized on the MPU is the watchdog timer. If it is running, the board won't try to reset itself, and you won't get the flashing red. I have not studied 039's very much yet so I don't know what the dark LED's are saying. No, unfortunately, I do not have another MPU to try. But I can hook up an external monitor and see the screens. I just can't select/touch anything. When I hook up the Tovis monitor, it is black but I can touch it and hear it clicking on things. 5

Universal Reel/Video Games / Re: Replacement NIMH BATTERY?« Last post by Badbaud on Today at 02:03:18 PM »Switch to a LiIon battery, the one you are using tends to leak and eat traces.
The LiIon battery does not need a charging circuit to power the RAM chip. 7
IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: What kind of board do I have in my S2000« Last post by lowlimitlootlane on Today at 02:01:42 PM »I just got the board back and installed... wow. Let's start with shipping, when it arrived it was packaged so well, there was 0 air cavities, the whole board came cradled in bubble wrap, foam, peanuts, the deluxe. This was my first impression, and I couldn't wait to get it in the machine. When I plugged the board in and did a little RAM reset, the game came to life. There was stereo sound. It was brilliant. Yeah i still hear a little hiss as mentioned in a studio environment, but add some tunes and some conversation and you have a great little casino environment at home with the s2000 playing loud and clear in stereo. Just wanted to say I was thoroughly impressed with the work done and highly recommend it if you have an older board. Thanks lookes, bravo!

I have measured F1 on both the original inverter board and the replacement board. They both measure intact at 0 ohms.

LCD and CRT Monitor Repair Tech Support / Re: Ceronix 1490 for IGT 701 draw poker text not aligned.« Last post by Asurber on Today at 12:54:55 PM »Thanks Chris, so funny because my dad used to have a TV repair shop in the 60's, too bad I wasn't older and more interested! I'm really interested now and think my next purchase will be a Craftymech TPG.
