For those finding this post trying to find out what the difference between a 3902 and a 3903 is the answer is charge control circuitry sometimes a varta battery that your going to want to remove and a sticker.

That's true.  But with a 3903 MPU you can't just remove the varta battery by itself or you'll get a Door Open MCLB error.  You need to remove U72 along with the battery.
