what are some of the cheating devices you have seen out there i have been a tech. for twenty five years and have seen and busted many crime rings share some of your stories and tell me what to look out for .

I would think the modern machines are pretty impervious to this.

 :I_agree_1: With the Coin in-Coin out machines, the machines were much more vulnerable.  Now with TITO, all of the money transactions go through a secure server in the back room.

Well one of the IGT guys came in and said he had to crc check an eprom so he took his CUSTOM KOBETRON OUT THAT COULD BURN AN EPROM CHANGED IT SO YOU COULD HIT THE TOP AWARD . AND WON CARS ALL OVER VEGAS HAD OLD MEN AND WOMEN GO AROUND AND HIT THE JACKPOT.

counterfeit quarters thousands of them someone made quarters they looked almost perfect but if you dropped one on the table the sound was a bit off took me awhile to catch this one.

THE OLD CARD READERS WITH THE HOLES IN THEM PEOPLE WOULD USE A MATCH BOOK TEAR IT OFF SLIP IT INTO CARD READER WITH CARD THEN PULL OUT THE CARD AND IT SHOWS YOUR CARD IS STILL INSERTED AND GO ALL OVER THE CASINO AND BE RACKING UP POINTS WHILE AT HOME.
