MK6 themes

I have a whole bunch of different mk6 themes that I wish to install. However the system base I am using 01 04 11 is definitely not compitable with every theme for the mk6. Can anyone be of any assistance?

It would be nice if there was a compatibility list on here showing which base/setchips to use (although it would take an eternity to go through each and every game and base on real hardware, especially if you had to burn the chips just to test them), even the Australian NSW machines have compatibility issues between versions.

Also what would be awesome is of every game type i.e. multiline, Cashman 25, reel power and so on for each type werd all compatible with one system base per game type which would make this so much easier for me to change themes.


But if anyone can tell me what themes they have running with which system base like Paul has that would be a tremendous help also.

If only MAME's MK6 emulation could get as far as getting the games to boot up and enter the menus (even if not playable), it would be an extremely useful tool as the source code could also be updated to show all of the different setup combinations each game allows, and of course which base/setchips are compatible. I am yet to do this with the MK5 games (beyond listing the required setchips) but one day if I have time I will go through everything and note all the different bet/line combinations and RTP amounts or whether it can be set up as a Hyperlink game.

I'm just glad that the Australian (NSW) games don't need all of this messing around with setchips.
