IGT Double Lucky 7s
« on: July 13, 2014, 08:40:50 AM »
We have an IGT Double Lucky 7s 1996 machine the only problem we are having is that when it wins it pays out(drops the coins) instead of retaining them on the machine as credits, does anyone know the fix for this?   Thanks

Sure we can help! We will need to know the SP chip you currently have though, so that we can get you set up! You can usually remove your MPU and just read the 2 labeled chips, but in case they are not labeled, here's a link to the thread on how to determine your SP chip number:

The craziest thing just started happening when I put the board back in....after you drop in the 3 quarters it just plays without pushing any buttons????

I haven't heard of auto-play on an S+ game, but I'm no expert either. I would suspect a possible short in your Max Bet button or wiring or a sticky button if this isn't an available "feature" on these games. Though I think the connection has to be open between plays. Sitting there with it held down doesn't keep it spinning.

There's an autospin option on some of the oddball SP chips -- SP1137 comes to mind -- but looking at that PSR it only applies to tournament games, not regular games.  The SP731 PSR does not make any reference to an autospin feature.

To be clear, excjim, you're physically dropping in three quarters into the coin slot, and as soon as the third one is accepted the machine spins on its own?
