help finding correct sb chip

im working on a double diamond 3 reel 5 line with a 10 button deck and 7 segment pay line display. the display will not work and only part of the deck will work. does anyone know what software i should be running in this machine.

We have had this problem before and it can be caused by the SG chips. What SGs are you using? We have same game set-up and I believe we are using 512s or 598s.

Yep, the 363s are the issue. That display only runs with certain SG chips. Try some 5xx if you have some.

I have another machine with the 363s with the display working but I will try a set 598s

Displays working now button deck will not.

Ok, we are running 523s (Sorry, I was close). Here's a pic of the machine and the chip set. Buttons are not lit on deck since machine is out of credits...but deck works perfectly.


Edit: The SB you have is for 5 credit max, ours is for 75 credit max (that's the difference in the 2 SB numbers).

My sb is wrong and I don't have the bin for that one.

It's the right SB, just the 5 credit max version. Do you have the other type of display? Since the SB you have is max 1 credit per line, you don't typically use that display. You'd just use the one that lights each line as it is bet.


OH! And the fact you have a 5 credit max SB explains why the 10-button deck doesn't work properly. 5 Credit game is standard button deck.

machine now appears to be working. i have not had time to make sure all stops and pay outs work properly, but after a few pays i think it is. The sb for anyone interested was sb100446 as is shown in cvslots pics.
